- About Holland

Dedicated to building a brighter future for our schools and community.

As a parent who will have kids in this district for the next 15 years, I’m not just passing through. I’m here to help shape a school system that works now and long into the future. Like many of you, I’m in the thick of raising school-aged kids, juggling homework, sports practices, and bedtime battles. I understand firsthand what families in our community need from our schools, because I’m living it too. That means I’m not just thinking about the next board meeting, I’m thinking about the next science fair, the next field day, and yes, even the next Hope of America Concert. One of our biggest challenges is making sure our schools grow fast enough and smart enough to keep up with our booming community. I want to help build a district that puts students, families, and teachers first and ensures we have the space and support every child needs to thrive.

I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, where I spent most of my time doing schoolwork, hanging out with friends, and eventually playing on the lacrosse team in my senior year. I later moved west to attend Utah Valley University, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. I married my husband in 2013, and together we’ve built a life we love, rooted in family, community, and service.

We moved to Lehi in 2017, and it was there that my passion for public education began to grow. A neighbor, who worked for Alpine School District in the Math department, would light up every time she talked about our schools, and that enthusiasm rubbed off on me. When my oldest started kindergarten, I dove in and got involved however I could. That spark turned into a commitment and eventually into leadership roles.

I’m a parent, a passionate PTA volunteer, and someone who cares a lot about our schools. For the past three years, I’ve been involved with the PTA at Brookhaven Elementary, and I currently serve as PTA President (which mostly means I’ve mastered the art of running meetings and finding volunteers). But seriously, that role has given me a front-row seat to the challenges and opportunities our schools face, and it has fueled my commitment to make a difference at the school board level. Being regularly present in the schools has also allowed me to build strong relationships with teachers, administrators, and other ASD employees. I’ve seen firsthand how hard they work and how deeply they care, and I want to be a voice for them.
